Our family had the amazing opportunity to host a young girl from Ukraine named Olga during the summer of 2010. We instantly fell in love with her and began the process to make her our daughter. Over the course of the adoption Olga decided to change her name to Alexandria, Alex for short. This blog is the story of her adoption.

From our breakfast menu...
We went out to breakfast with our friends, the Merritts and our facilitator, Sergei. In case you can't read what this delicacy is, it says: Boiled Tongue with Mustard Sauce and Crap. I ordered pancakes.
I guess the fact that the boiled tongue is cold really becomes irrelevant. I really wasn't a fan of the pancakes... yogurt and bananas worked much better for me.
I loved the meat filled or cheese filled pancakes. At the Hotel Lugansk I got brie cheese with some type of sweet fruit sauce inside ... it was so yummy! :)

ReplyDeleteWe went back yesterday for breakfast and I got the "cheesey" pancakes again. Very heavy, but tasty.
